Maninplace is a dynamic, busy charity and not for profit community interest company committed to providing safe and secure accommodation for people who present as rough living or homeless within the borough of Telford and Wrekin.

Offering a variety of accommodation and support services tailored to the individual, Maninplace seeks to reduce a return to homelessness for anyone accessing its services, as well as encourage, motivate and enable individuals to reach their full potential.

As the Property Caretaker, you will ensure the internal and external parts of our accommodation across Telford and Wrekin is maintained to a high standard of appearance, is safe and has a welcoming outdoor space for clients and visitors to enjoy all year round.

You will be an enthusiastic, resilient and flexible person who relates well to people from all sectors of society and with a variety of backgrounds and support needs. Your strong motivation, confidence and organisational skills will be key to the success of this role.

Salary & benefits

£9238 per annum.  Access to work based pension is available after successful completion of a 3 month probationary period. Annual leave entitlement and travel allowance.

Qualifications & experience

Proven experience working within a maintenance or handyman/caretaker environment, experience of minor plumbing and electrical work, painting/decorating and garden maintenance. GCSE or similar education to level C is desirable.

Working across various locations in Telford and Wrekin


21 hours per week over 4 days, with shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 21:30.  Includes alternate weekend work.
