To be part of a team managing emergency and temporary accommodation units, providing accommodation to people who become homeless or rough living in the Telford and Wrekin area.
To deliver responsive assistance to customers to enable them to achieve their accommodation goals, thus preventing a return to homelessness and rough sleeping.
To ensure the personal safety of customers and visitors.
You will ensure all accommodation in your area of work meets the standards set by the organisation and is line with our legal obligations.
You will assist team members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all communal areas of our accommodation, and work to encourage customers to keep their living space in a similar fashion, recognising and working within the limits of their capabilities.
To Liaise with other services and agencies including Floating Support delivered through the “Inspire To Thrive Telford” partnership.
£13,896 per annum
Qualifications & experience
Qualification in maths and English at GCSE level (minimum), computer literate with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, experience in homelessness support services, health and social care, criminal justice system or related relevant experience in providing advice and guidance.
To provide temporary accommodation of a high standard, assisting people with presenting needs to be signed posted to appropriate support services. Assisting customers to maintain their tenancy and assist them to move on to more sustainable tenancies, and reduce the need for people to be homeless and rough sleeping.

Working from a Maninplace property in Wellington, and responding to operational needs across the Telford & Wrekin area.
34 hours per week
The working pattern will be between the hours of 8:30 – 21:30 hrs as per rota and will include alternate weekends.
