Housing Management Worker - Maternity Cover

Context.

To be part of a team managing emergency and temporary accommodation units, providing accommodation to people who become homeless or rough living in the Telford and Wrekin area. You role will be:

Salary

£13,896 per annum

Qualifications & experience

Qualification in maths and English at GCSE level (minimum), computer literate with experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, experience in homelessness support services, health and social care, criminal justice system or related relevant experience in providing advice and guidance.

Project

To provide temporary accommodation of a high standard, assisting people with presenting needs to be signed posted to appropriate support services.  Assisting customers to maintain their tenancy and assist them to move on to more sustainable tenancies, and reduce the need for people to be homeless and rough sleeping.

Responsible to

Housing Management Services Team Leader.

Location

Working from a Maninplace property in Wellington, and responding to operational needs across the Telford & Wrekin area.

Hours

34 hours per week

The working pattern will be between the hours of 8:30 – 21:30 hrs as per rota and will include alternate weekends.
