As HR Officer, you will provide an important resource to staff in all areas of the business on a daily basis. Your caring, positive, and “can-do” attitude will encourage and harness an effective link between directors, team managers and staff in all matters of personnel.

You will assist managers to implement and maintain a structured and regular 1:1 review process within their respective teams, offering support to employees that promotes healthy wellbeing in the workplace, alongside a good work-homelife balance, resolving matters of conflict in conjunction with managers, supporting the business through disciplinary situations, and implementing a training programme that develops employee’s skills.

You will also act as an HR mentor to a colleague developing their role within the department, helping them understand the skills and knowledge required to support employees across the organisation.

This is a pivotal role in our developing business. You will be entrusted with the recruitment engagement and development, so the Maninplace experience surpasses the expectations by our team members.

Hours of Work:

20 hours per week.

Monday- Friday, times to be confirmed.

Initial 12-month contract, extension subject to funding.

Salary & Benefits:

£14,820 per annum.

Job Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily Activities:

  1. Answering employee enquiries relating to annual leave, sickness absence, or wider HR related matters.
  2. Processing internal/external mail relating to personnel.
  3. Providing customer service to organisation employees.
  4. Process the recruitment of potential candidates, including publishing recruitment adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
  5. Organise and carry out new employee inductions days, ensuring following up induction plans are in place with team managers as appropriate.
  6. To maintain HR records, both paper & electronic, securely & confidentially in line with GDPR and Company policy, always ensuring accuracy.
  7. Provide note taking support at relevant HR related meetings.
  8. General administration support to the Board of Directors
  9. Filing, photocopying, and letter writing with other administrative duties.
  10. To act as mentor to the HR Administrator
