This is a new service aimed at providing a legacy that will transform the resettlement of those leaving custody who have no accommodation, reducing homelessness, rough sleeping and reoffending.
Both Telford & Wrekin Council and Shropshire Council are situated in Shropshire the area has plenty of green spaces, excellent facilities and easy access to the national motorway M54, M6, the rail networks, facilitating superb transport links to Telford and Shrewsbury.
Thrive are managing the funding and Maninplace is the contractor delivering the service across several expressions of work and partnerships.
Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire Council are the funders, each is a unitary authority. Telford and Wrekin is a fast growing town, 50 years old and made up of several district from the traditional market towns such as Wellington, Oakengates, Madeley, Dawley, and Hadley with the new town districts of Sutton Hill, Woodside, Brookside Stirchley and Lawley.
Shropshire is made up of the County Town, districts and rural towns including Ludlow, Oswestry, Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth and Ellesmere.

Hours of work
The role will consist of a minimum 35 hours per week, working flexibly and could include a weekend day.
The annual salary will be £19,182.80 -
Training CPD opportunities
Access to the work based pension scheme with company contributions added after successful 3 month probationary period.
Qualifications & experience
Essential level of experience in, homelessness, skills of engagement, information and advice, local knowledge of Shropshire including Telford and Wrekin. Qualifications at level GCSE C or above in English, Maths and ICT
